I graduated from the Psychology Department of San Buenaventura University in 2005 and subsequently as specialist in Forensic Psychology from the same University in 2007. I obtained my PhD in biomedical basic science with a focus on neuroscientific research from University of Antioquia-Colombia in 2011.

I worked as an undergraduate volunteer from 2002 to 2006 at “Liga antioqueña de hemofilicos”. My role there focused on psychosocial support for patients with haemophilia and their families. I also contributed to the desing of a program that aimed to promoting integral health attention for the disorder. I started working as a young researcher in 2006 at neuropsychology and I conduct research group at University of San Buenaventura, Medellín, Colombia. I started in 2007 my PhD in the neuroscience group of Antioquia. In 2010 I became fulltime professor at psychology department at “Fundacion Universitaria Maria Cano”. Between 2011 to 2014 I enrolled as a fulltime researcher at Neuroscience group at University of Antioquia. I was also part time lecturer for special education undergrad program at University of Antioquia. I have been professor for the master in neuropsychology and for the doctoral program in psichology at University of San Buenaventura. Since 2014 I am full time professor at university of Antioquia in public health program.
